The Laurel berry and the bay laurel (Daphne) are known as a symbol of high status i the ancient Greece. Its a medicinal -rediscovered! – shrub which is astringent, used for the treatment of rashes, open wounds, and because of the lauroside B it has shown very good effect on melanoma (skin cancer) where it stops the cancel-cell multiplication. Bay Laurel is suggested for treatment of dry skin, acne, rosacea, skin infections, psoriasis, eczema, wrinkles and as I personally found out: cellulitis!
